The creation of “Heritage Display & Conservation Sets”

The idea for Heywood Potter Studios Heritage Display & Conservation Sets grew from the thought that there was no suitable way to display and preserve my own small collection of Portrait Miniatures. I began to explore solutions that would beautifully display these small gems, allow for viewing them at a close distance, retain the ablility to pick up and hold these fine paintings, and then to put them safely away; accessible, identifiable and attractively stored. After more exploration and experimentaion I realized that with the addition of specialized accessory pads I could expand their utlility to include many other categories of collectibles and heirlooms.

There was also a strong desire to create something that would last and be well-made, and so I incorporated fine fabrics, archival papers and European hardware to impart that heirloom quality. I hope you fine these unique and useful, and that they serve you for many years.
